Applications for a 2016 City of Fountain Business License are now available. Application packets are in Microsoft Word format, and are able to be filled out online. Click on the image above to access the packet.

Demolition
The Fountain Valley Urban Renewal Authority (FURA) has a new website to better share its mission and projects with the community. The new site can be found here, as well as on the FURA division page, under the Economic Development Department.

Free Youth Summer Bus Passes

The free youth summer bus pass provides free rides on Fountain Municipal Transit buses to kids ages 18 and under. 

The program, which is for youths, operates all summer. Kids should show their Youth Summer Bus Pass when boarding buses. 

You can pick up your Free Youth Summer Bus at Fountain City Hall.

A parent or child must come in person with proof of age to acquire a Youth Summer Bus Pass.

**** Proof of age: birth certificate, state identification, learner's permit, passport

We anticipate passes being available May 29, 2017.

City of Fountain Recycle Center Hours
Located at 301 E Iowa.  East Side of Bldg.
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday:  10am to 1pm
1st Saturday of the month: 9am to 12noon
Closed on Holidays
Volunteers wanted, needed, and appreciated!

  • El Paso County is conducting a survey that will aid us in identifying needs and opportunities for a Community Development Block Grant. We are requesting that residents take a few moments to complete a survey to help the City and County identify these community needs.

  • Railroad Quiet Zone Status  Update

  • Fountain Municipal Transit - information about our bus transportation service with route, schedule and fare, along with our Transit Brochure, are available online. 31 day unlimited bus passes are $54.00 or a Adult 22 ride bus passes are $30.00. Passes can be purchases at City Hall at 116 S. Main Street or the Fountain Senior Center at 5745 Southmoor Drive. If you have further question or a disability and need to schedule to be picked up you must call the Fountain Municipal Transit Dispatch 24 hours ahead of time at (719) 392-3500.
