Dear Fountain Municipal Transit riders,

Over the last few weeks, information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has raised concerns, and we want you to know we are committed to everyone’s safety and minimizing risk.

As the lead local government agency, El Paso County Health is working with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in obtaining the most accurate and up-to-date information and recommendations to protect community health, and we are following their guidance.

We are taking additional measures to keep our buses clean and our riders and employees as safe and protected as possible. Our buses are being cleaned every day, in accordance with current CDC recommendations. Teams are cleaning and disinfecting seats, steering wheels, handles, buckles, stop request buttons, and other high-touch areas.
