Starting Monday, June 8th, the City of Fountain water department will be working along Fountain Mesa Road.
Construction activities will focus on replacing aging water service pipes located beneath the streets and sidewalks. These aging pipes and connections are prone to failure, causing leaks which inconvenience you, your neighbors and the public with water outages and unexpected road closures.
For the duration of this project, a section of Fountain Mesa Road will be closed to thru-traffic, between Bailing Wire Way and Harvest Moon Road. Northbound and southbound traffic will be routed to Rye Ridge Road.
This work will take place on Fountain Mesa Road between Harvest Moon Road and Bailing Wire Way. Construction activity is expected to last for two months, occurring primarily between the hours of 7 A.M - 7 P.M Tuesday through Thursday and will open back up Friday through Monday for the duration of the project
After the completion of water service pipe replacements, the City of Fountain Streets Department will begin the repaving Fountain Mesa Road. For questions, contact the City of Fountain Water Department at (719) 322-2072.
