Fire Suppression System Contractors

Individual or companies installing Underground Supply Lines from public water lines to system risers shall have at a minimum a Fire Suppression System Contractor with the Colorado, Division of Fire Prevention and Control.

After completion of the installation it shall be the responsibility of the contractor to schedule an  Underground Piping Hydrostatic test and a flush. All breaks or major repairs will require a hydrostatic test and flush.

NFPA 24: Standard for the Installation of Private Fire Service Mains and Their Appurtenances. (2019 ed.) shall be the standard for all Underground Fire Protection Systems within the City of Fountain
