Water Efficiency Plan

The Water Conservation Act of 2004 requires that all water providers maintain a state approved efficiency plan to be updated at least every seven years. This document contains important information regarding historical and projected water demands, water supply reliability, limitations and future needs, historical and proposed demand management activities, and implementation and monitoring processes.

This plan is vital to a state-wide effort to meet demand needs through enhanced water efficiency processes. Following a sixty-day public comment period, this document will be submitted to the Fountain City Council for adoption and to the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) for approval.  In completing this plan, the City of Fountain will be eligible for grant funding through the CWCB to assist with the creation and implementation of additional conservation-related initiatives.
