A study was conducted on Jimmy Camp Creek using the Jimmy Camp Creek Drainage Enterprise Fund. A Comprehensive Study and Final Ordinance Report were done to assess the needs of Jimmy Camp Creek for the urban growth area.
The City is in partnership with the Fountain Creek Drainage Study. This project is presently ongoing and coordinated through Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments. This study provides information on improvements to our drainage system in order to protect all interested parties and residents alike.
The City of Fountain follows the El Paso County/Colorado Springs Drainage Criteria manual with the exception of Drainage Impact Fees. The Jimmy Camp Creek project impacts fees which are only used for improvements to the 100-year flood plain of Jimmy Camp Creek. |
