 The Patrol Division consists of four squads, each supervised by a sergeant. Under our sector-based patrol plan the city is divided into four sectors and an officer from each squad is assigned permanently to each one of the districts. This means that for each district there are four officers assigned. These officers will be expected to work together and with our citizens to solve problems and crimes within their assigned district. Additionally, these officers will help to organize and attend Neighborhood Watch and other meetings. You may notice you see the same officer(s) in your neighborhood answering calls, participating in meetings, conducting traffic stops or just patrolling. Officers should become familiar with the people and issues in their districts and your neighborhood, and you and your neighbors should become comfortable working with these officers to solve problems.
